Management Accountant

We provide bespoke, full-circle recycling and waste management solutions, to both small and large commercial clients as well as regional, local and national charities. We are looking for a Management Accountant to join our busy team.

About the role

We are looking for an experienced individual with an Accountancy Qualification, although, finalists and those qualified by experience may also be considered. Ideally you will have experience of both Financial and Management Accounting. You will be reporting to the Senior Management Accountant providing and support as we implement business growth strategies.

What will you be doing?

Supporting with both internal and external audits
Assisting with the preparation of long-range plans, budgets and forecasts
Aid the preparation of yearly accounts
Produce monthly management accounts
Work alongside and aid the Senior Management Accountant in the process of Business Development
Control and prepare cash flow statements

Essential Skills

Advanced Excel skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain and comment on the numbers
Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
Capacity to work to strict deadlines
Ability to manage workload and a team player
Knowledge of Sage 50 Cloud
